三星工会集会已导致内存产线下降18.4%,代工产线下降58.1%。工会威胁从5月21日起罢工18天,要求三星支付约45万亿韩元奖金。代工线因自动化程度低,产出受更大影响。
Samsung Union: One Rally Already Hit Output. A Strike Is Next.
Memory fabs down 18.4%, foundry lines down 58.1%, and this wasn't even a strike, just a rally. The union is now threatening 18 consecutive days starting May 21 unless Samsung agrees to hand over roughly KRW 45tn in bonuses.
Foundry took the bigger hit because the lines are less automated. When workers walk, output collapses, and anything mid-process gets scrapped.
Realistically, this probably gets resolved before it fully escalates. Korean labor disputes tend to settle, and Samsung has too much riding on 2H supply commitments to let this drag. But the fact that a single rally moved the needle this much tells you something about how much leverage the union actually has sitting at the table.
