By 2030, the semiconductor industry is projected to face a shortage of more than one million professionals, making workforce development a defining factor for competitiveness and supply chain resilience.

In response, governments and industry organizations worldwide are accelerating efforts to develop talent pipelines and strengthen cross-border collaboration. For a deeply global industry like semiconductors, the movement of talent and the exchange of knowledge are essential to developing a resilient and interconnected ecosystem and supporting a global talent pipeline.
